Specwell monoculars 2x (2x8) to 10x (10x30) are optimal optics in a compact housing. Whether as a reading aid, or in industry for installation in fixtures
What are monoculars: In principle monoculars are field glasses with only one optical path. SPECWELL monoculars are optimum optical instruments in a compact housing. Whether as reading aids for private use or in industrial applications for installation in equipment. The various magnification factors and working distances in the close-up as well as far field ensure a wide range of applications. Please note that the depth of field is limited in the close-up range, so that careful focussing is required.
The image is not reversed. Both lens systems (ocular and objective lenses) are achromatic and have an anti-reflex coating as a standard feature. The compact design is a significant advantage for recreational use, because monoculars are considerably smaller than binocular field glasses.
Three models are available (8 x 20, 8 x 30 and 10 x 30) for demanding outdoor use - all with sturdy rubber protective coating. In addition to the versions listed here, other models with auxiliary close-up lens are also available.
