Specwell microscopes, consisting of monocular with close-up lens, acrylic stand and anti-reflective coating of the optics, result in a testing and measuring instrument of the highest quality class

In stock (27)

In principle monoculars are field glasses with only one optical path. Due to the extraordinary quality of the lenses they are used preferably in combination with a close-up lens as a stand microscope without reversed image.

With the monoculars, objects can be observed at a working distance of between 220 mm and 600 mm depending on the model. When used at greater distances the field of view ranges from approx. 105 to 219 metres at a distance of 1,000 metres from the object.

The monoculars listed here are always supplied with a close-up lens with acrylic base. These can simply be screwed onto the monocular resulting in an excellent stand microscope with field of view between 4.2 mm and 10 mm and magnification factors of 12x to 45x, depending on whether the short version (KS) or long version (LS) close-up lens is used (resulting in different magnification factors). This must be specified when ordering. The image is not reversed. Both lens systems (ocular and object lens) are achromatic and always have an anti-reflection coating.

These monoculars are used, among other applications, as positioning aids in the industry. If the working distances without close-up lens are too great or the magnification not high enough, the close-up lens can be screwed into the monocular without acrylic base. This again allows fields of view, magnification factors and working distances to be achieved similar to microscopes. The model M-820-C (8x20) is the perfect solution for positioning tasks at a minimum distance of 300 mm because of the built-in scale with crosshairs.

Use of these monoculars in combination with the close-up lens is not limited to technical applications. Due to the high light sensitivity, true image and magnification factors, these monoculars are also preferred as vision aids. A high quality box with neck strap is included. The M-820-S and M-830-S models each have an internal scale with 0.1 and 0.005 mm divisions in the upper section and 0.2 mm divisions in the lower section of the reticle plate.
