The microscope of the 2034 series impresses with its uncomplicated handling. Simply place the microscope on the measuring field, focus - done. Thanks to the clear acrylic base, the surface to be inspected can be seen from all sides. This makes it easy to find the measuring point. Focusing is done by turning the tube coaxially. The object is displayed as a mirror image due to the short beam path in the microscope. The optical system consists of an objective lens and an eyecup. Since all lenses are coated, sharp and high-contrast images can be obtained.
Three magnifications are available: 150x, 200x and 300x. The eyepiece has a 10x magnification and the focal plane is equipped with a scale. Thanks to the Huygens design with the focal plane in the lens system, dust contamination of the scale is eliminated. The lens closest to the eye in the eyepiece can be moved by turning the adjustment ring so that the scale can be adjusted according to the diopters of the observer. The side illumination allows measurements on dark surfaces or in darkened rooms. Two 1.5 volt mignon batteries are required for operation.
We recommend the optionally available MKH stand, which provides the microscope with a secure footing on flat or curved objects. In addition, we also offer a high-quality, unbreakable aluminium lamp holder with a Maglite as a more powerful light. This illumination in combination with the MKH stand makes the perfect microscope for on the go.
