KITO-USB-P with precision guidance

The KITO-USB-P USB video microscopes with Metric PE or Metric MT measuring software offered here differ from the KITO-USB series in the Z-axis. The “P” series has a high-precision double guide system with rack and pinion adjustment. This enables very fine adjustment in the Z-axis. In conjunction with the solid mounting of the optics, lateral misalignment of the optical center during height adjustment is avoided. When using cross measuring tables, the lateral offset of an optic can lead to measuring errors.

KITOZOOM: Optics and USB camera

A zoom system consists of the following components: Zoom unit with 6.5x optical magnification, adapter, attachment lens and C-mount adapter. There is also a matching USB camera. In order to be able to work precisely with the Metric measuring software, we need to be able to set the individual zoom levels reproducibly. For this reason, the zoom unit has six spherical recesses into which a spring-loaded ball can engage when turned. The steps marked by numbers are created as “lenses” in the Metric software and calibrated and saved using a reticle with a certificate.

A major advantage of the detent zoom system is that the working distance (lens end to test specimen) does not have to be changed within a zoom range. The distance is set at the highest magnification level and then remains the same for the entire zoom range. An additional 0.5x attachment lens is included with the KITOZOOM. This gives us two zoom ranges that are completely sufficient in 95 % of all cases. Four additional attachment lenses 0.25x, 0.75x, 1.5x and 2.0x are available for larger fields of view or higher magnifications. The USB 3.0 camera with 5.6 Mpx, 1/2”, color offers a resolution of 2600 × 2160 pixels. KITO-10-USB-P

The KITO-10-USB-P model consists of the KITOZOOM zoom unit with USB camera, an LED ring light with dimmer, the height adjustment by means of a rack and pinion system, which offers quick and fine adjustment, and the base plate. This 400 x 250 mm plate is made of 20 mm face-milled and anodized aluminium. The height of the feet on the base plate can be adjusted and fixed individually. Weight: 10 kg, dimensions: 400 x 250 x 550 - 670 mm.

KITO-20-USB-P

The model KITO-20-USB-P is a model with an integrated LED light plate, which is dimmable. The LED light plate is approx. 0.5 mm below the surface of the base plate. This model can be combined with our positioning tables and cross measuring tables.

KITO-40-USB-P

The KITO-40-USB-P model is a complete configuration with a positioning table. The adjustment range is 75 x 55 mm. The KITO-40-USB-P is an ideal solution for simple, fast positioning of small parts. However, we would like to point out that for very fine positioning tasks in the 0.01 mm range, it makes more sense to use a KITO-20-USB-P model with a corresponding precision cross table.
