The microscopes of the 2034, 2054 and 2054-EIM series offer the possibility to adjust their magnification by changing the objective. The standard transport boxes of the microscopes already have four recesses for the safe transport of the interchangeable lenses. The objectives can be screwed on, making it very easy to change them. These objectives have an RMS thread.
However, special attention must then be paid to measuring. If, for example, you use a microscope with 100x magnification with the 0.01 mm scale, the measurement result will be incorrect after changing the objective. Therefore, you should order the corresponding eyepiece with the appropriate scale for the additional objective with which you want to measure. See Eyepieces for Microscopes. For purely optical controls, it is not necessary to change the eyepiece.
