Increased process reliability for optical quality control
The process descriptions for optical quality control often require that no incorrect calibration occurs when changing the optical magnification. Particularly with manual zoom systems, there is a risk that the calibration in the measuring software will not be adjusted correctly, which can lead to erroneous measurement results.
The motorized Kitozoom system offers a reliable solution here. It is divided into 10 precisely defined zoom levels that are pre-calibrated in the Metric measurement software. Each zoom level can be accessed directly via individually configurable hotkeys. The automatic calibration adjustment eliminates operating errors and ensures consistent measurement results.
Coaxial illumination for challenging materials
For applications with highly reflective surfaces or polished sections, the Kitozoom system is optionally available with coaxial illumination. This illumination is compatible with 2x and 1.5x magnification attachment lenses or without attachment lenses, to ensure maximum flexibility for a range of requirements.
Comprehensive features for professional applications

- a diffuser for the LED ring light

Robust design with precise adjustment
The motorized zoom system is integrated in a completely enclosed protective housing and mounted on a high-precision height adjustment. The base plate is available in two versions:
- Closed version for universal applications
- Version with dimmable, integrated LED underillumination and holes with internal threads for flexible mounting of positioning stages or cross tables (available separately).
