The microscope for petrology for testing properties of organic substances in sedimentary rocks
HEAD:
Trinocular heads of Siedentopf type with 30° inclined tubes. Pupil distance from 48 to 76 mm. Two ± 5 diopter settings. Unique rotation system allows ergonomic positioning of both tubes in a high (431 mm) and low (397 mm) position. The trinocular head has a 23.2 mm phototube. This fits all C-mount adapters.
OBJECTIVE REVOLVER:
Rotating quadruple revolving nosepiece with ball bearings.
OBJECTIVES:
Plan PLPOLi IOS (1)
Plan PLPOLRi IOS (2)
1) Plan PLPOLi tension-free infinity corrected objectives for polarization applications. Objectives 5x without cover glass correction and 10/20/S40/S60/S100x oil with 0.17mm cover glass correction. For models with continuous polarization
2) Plan PLPOLRi stress-free, infinity corrected objectives for polarization applications. No cover glass correction. For models with incident illumination
3) Optional objectives
All optics are anti-fungal treated and anti-reflective coated for maximum light transmission
CROSS TABLE:
360° rotatable, Ø 160 mm cross-stage with two object clamps. Optional mechanical X-Y stage of 30 x 40 mm available
CONDENSER:
Height-adjustable Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and 360° swing-out, rotatable polarizer
FOCUSING:
Coaxial coarse and fine drive, 200 divisions, 1 μm per division, 200 μm per revolution, total travel approx. 24 mm, with adjustable rack stop to prevent damage to specimen and objectives. Coarse adjustment is equipped with friction control.
TRANSMITTED LIGHT ILLUMINATION:
Intensity adjustable 3 W Köhler NeoLED™ illumination with internal 100-240 V power supply. The larger aperture of the NeoLED™ enables the optical systems of the iScope® microscope to produce higher resolution images very close to the theoretical diffraction limit of the optics. Other advantages of the NeoLED™ include low power consumption, no heating, and long lifetime. The Köhler aperture provides homogeneous illumination and high contrast. Polarization models with transmitted light only are supplied with: 360° rotatable polarizing filter, 360° rotatable analyzer with 180 steps and vernier for 0.2 degree reading, Bertrand lens (built-in), 1 λ first red and 1/4 λ retardation plate, a quartz wedge, 45 mm green and blue filters for lamphouse
ILLUMINATION:
(PLPOLRi models only)
Equipped with a 50 W 12 V halogen epi-illumination and external 100-240 V power supply. Supplied with 360° rotatable polarizing filter, 360° rotatable analyzer with 180 steps and vernier for 0.2 degree reading, Bertrand lens (built-in), 1 λ first red plate, 1/4 λ retardation plate, a quartz wedge, sliders with green/blue and white/neutral density filters. 45 mm green and blue filters for the lamphouse.
ICARE SENSOR:
The unique iCare Sensor is designed to prevent unnecessary energy loss . The microscope illumination automatically turns off as soon as the microscopist leaves his seat.
CSS - CABLE STORAGE SYSTEM:
iScope® allows the user to simply tuck the power cord into the back of the instrument for easy storage
PACKAGE CONTENTS:
Included in the package are power cord, voltage control tool, dust cover, spare fuse and user manual. All packed in styrofoam boxes
