Microscopes such as PEAK 2010, 2034, 2054, 2008, KITO-MI etc. cannot be supplied with a test certificate or certificate like the normal scales of the measuring magnifiers.
Why:
The reason is as follows: The scales of the measuring loupes such as 1983 are produced 1:1. This means that the distance between the lines is 100 µm +/- deviations. These can be checked relatively easily in a calibration laboratory (see sample test certificate and DAkkS certificate). The scales of the microscopes are built into the eyepiece. These scales are NOT manufactured 1:1 but are calculated in such a way that they take into account the focal length and then, at the focal point (calculation of eyepiece/lens/distances), result in the respective specified division of the microscope.
Since such a back calculation is not common and secondly the scales are not dismounted (you need a clean room for mounting/dismounting), it is therefore not possible to certify these scales.
What to do:
With this type of microscopes or also video microscopes with measuring software, a certified "object" is therefore used for checking or calibration (measuring software). So we take e.g. a scale S-1983-001 with a graduation of 10µm and have it certified (preferably with DAkkS) protocol and can now check the microscope 2010 with this certified scale. Now an internal calibration certificate is created (analogue or digital) in which we enter, for example:
1) what we have checked e.g. PEAK microscope type 2034-100
2) in which steps/intervals/measuring points we have checked it with the associated deviations according to the test equipment certificate
3) Tester
4) Serial number of the test equipment
5) Serial number of the test item
6) date
7) Temperature/humidity
8) Recalibration or new verification date.
