For retrofitting a microscope ES-2008-25 or ES-2008-50, the original plastic base of the microscope is unscrewed and replaced by the special adapter. This is plugged onto the acrylic ring of the 10x magnifier. In this way, the ES version can be upgraded at any time to enable even more precise positioning.
